Eugénie Bidaut
is a graphic and type designer. She graduated from the École Européenne Supérieure d’Art de Rennes in 2020 and the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (Nancy, France) in 2022, and works mainly for and with cultural institutions and activist organizations. Now based in Brussels, she freelances on projects involving type design, visual identity, editorial design, and web development. She frequently collaborates with other Belgian and French graphic designers. She teaches type design and typography at ENSAV La Cambre, ESA Saint-Luc, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2020, first at the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique and then within the Bye Bye Binary, she has been conducting practical and theoretical research on type design as a tool for demasculinizing and de-binarizing the French language and has participated in the creation of various post‑binary fonts.
